Pondok Indah Golf Course:
a Golfer's Dream
As one of the most beautiful golf course in
Indonesia, many prestigious tournaments, both local
and international, have been held in Pondok Indah
Golf Course. The beauty and challenges of the course
always attract many golfers, range from beginners,
celebrities to top government officials, who always
return to Pondok Indah Golf Course.
Although
the full course has only been in played since April
1978, a number of of major international
professional and amateur events have already been
held. The course has twice been the chosen venue for
the Indonesian leg of the Benson & Hedges
International Golf Series, with Graham Marsh
(Australia), Huberst Green, Fuzzy Zoeller and Jhonny
Miller (All from USA) testing its tough par. Miller,
in 1978 set the present course of 68. Pondok Indah
was the final course on the Java/Bali circuit in
1979, the Eleutorio Nival of Philippines. Numerous
top players have praised its tough but fair hazzards,
its strategic layout and superb condition, despite
its youth.
